We do not ask for it and the site provides no field in which to enter it.
3. How we use it
We use the information you send to respond to your inquiry, to evaluate whether we are the right fit for your project, and, if an engagement follows, to perform that engagement and keep the records required for tax and business purposes. We use automatically collected server data to operate the site, keep it secure, and diagnose faults. We do not use your information to build advertising profiles and we do not use it for automated decision making.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the following categories of third parties, and only to the extent needed to run the business:
| Category | Purpose |
|---|---|

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act and comparable state statutes. 5. Third party tracking and Do Not Track
This site contains no analytics, no advertising pixels, no social media plug ins, and no third party scripts of any kind. Typefaces are served from our own server rather than from a third party font service. No third party is permitted to collect personally identifiable information about your activity on this site, and no party collects information about your activity across other websites over time through this site.
Do Not Track signals
Because we conduct no tracking of any kind, a Do Not Track signal from your browser has no effect on what we collect. We do not monitor your activity across other sites whether or not that signal is sent. We disclose this in accordance with California Business and Professions Code section 22575(b)(5).
6. Cookies
This site sets no cookies. Nothing is written to local storage or session storage on your device. No consent banner is presented because there is nothing to consent to.
7. How to review or change your information
To see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, write to sharif@mardenly.com with the word Privacy in the subject line and tell us which of these you want. We will confirm your identity by replying to the email address we already hold for you, and we will respond within thirty days. There is no charge. We will tell you if a legal obligation requires us to keep a record we would otherwise delete.
8. State privacy rights
Twenty states currently have comprehensive consumer privacy statutes, most of which apply only to businesses above defined revenue or data volume thresholds. Mardenly Consulting LLC is well below those thresholds and is not a covered business under the California Consumer Privacy Act, the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, or the comparable statutes of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Utah, Indiana, Kentucky, or Rhode Island.
We nonetheless extend the following to every visitor regardless of where you live, and we will honor a request whether or not the statute in your state obliges us to:
| Right | What it means |
|---|---|
| Know | Ask what categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold about you |
| Access | Receive a copy in a portable format |
| Correct | Have inaccurate information fixed |
| Delete | Have your information erased, subject to legal retention requirements |
| Opt out | Direct us not to sell or share your information. We do neither in any case |
| No retaliation | We will not deny service, charge a different price, or reduce quality because you exercised a right |
You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf if you give us written permission and we can verify your identity. If we decline a request, we will tell you why and how to appeal. An appeal is sent to the same address and answered within forty five days.
9. Email and text messages
Any commercial email we send will identify us accurately in the header and subject line, will state our physical postal address, and will contain a working unsubscribe mechanism. If you unsubscribe we will stop within ten business days, as required by the CAN-SPAM Act. Replying to an inquiry you sent us is not commercial email and carries no unsubscribe link, but you can tell us to stop at any time.
We do not send marketing text messages and we do not use automated dialing systems. We will not call or text you for marketing purposes without your prior express written consent.
10. Retention
Inquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within twelve months. Where an engagement follows, records are kept for the duration of the relationship and afterwards for the period required by the Internal Revenue Code and Florida business records law, generally seven years. Server logs are held by our hosting provider for a short period, normally no more than thirty days.
11. Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Access to inquiry records is limited to people who need it to do their work. We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the small volume and low sensitivity of the information we hold. If a breach affecting your information occurs, we will notify you as required by Florida Statutes section 501.171 and the breach notification law of your state.

If you visit from another country, understand that your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where privacy law differs from the law of your country. If you are in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland and you contact us, we will handle your inquiry on the basis that it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, and you may ask us to access, correct, or delete your information using the same address in section 7.

If we change this notice we will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date above. Where a change is material, meaning it alters what we collect, how we use it, or who receives it, we will post a notice on the site home page for thirty days, and we will email anyone whose information we hold before the change takes effect.
